December craziness

How is the end of the year going for you?

Most people I’m asking answer the same: it’s *that” period of the year again. Clients have some budget left, projects are ending, and yearly goals must be reached soon.

We are in the same boat. Since returning from DataFam Europe in London, we’ve worked very hard with our clients and have had to slow down the rest.

But we still have some news to share!

New Youtube Video

First, I finally released a new YouTube video!

This new video summarises everything there is to know about Viz Extension in less than eight minutes.

It is also the first video in a series focused on Viz Extension, where I’ll create a quick tutorial for each Extension. Stay tuned!

DataFam Europe Surprise

The second part is DataFam Europe!

We received great feedback, and the room was packed! During that session, we officially released the Filter Manager for Tableau and demonstrated most of our other tools.

And that was only half the room!

I know most of you couldn’t go, and sadly, the sessions were not recorded, but if you missed it, I have good news!

Tableau asked if we could record the session so they could publish everything on their YouTube channel!

So, if you are tired of Christmas movies, you can watch most of the DataFam sessions from the comfort of your home (in a week or two).

December Plan

Before the year ends, we have a few things we still plan to release!

Let’s see if we manage to do everything (probably not 😅), but we planned:

  • Two more videos on YouTube (DataFam session and Viz Extension)

  • A new Viz Extension 🍩

  • An update on the Network Extension to better handle colors and link size

  • Prepare our yearly review and 2026 goals

  • One newsletter every week

  • A proper landing page for Viz Extensions and Figma to Tableau on our website

Ambitious, but we will do our best! And if we can’t finish it all, it’s not a big deal ✌️

Speak next week!
