Hi everyone!
We are not fully ready to share our 2026 plan (moving to a new country takes quite a lot of time!), so it will have to wait until next week.
Meanwhile, we wanted to share the good news that the last issue with Tableau Public and the Trusted Viz Extensions is fixed!
At launch, the two main issues were:
Trusted Extensions are not loading in Tableau Desktop 2025.3.0.
Viz Extensions are only visible in Tableau Public when you are signed in.
With the release of 2025.3.1 and the latest Tableau Public update, everything is now working perfectly.
The only remaining item (that is not a bug but might hopefully be improved in the future) is that you need to Allow Access to the workbook for the extensions to load.
With that, we started to see the first visualizations using our extensions on Tableau Public… and the community didn’t disappoint!
