Ah... rounded corners…
For some, the best feature of 2026.1.
For others, a useless addition.
In any case, everyone will agree that it’s much better to have it natively than to use an unsustainable background-image technique.
Today I want to share two main updates on our Figma-to-Tableau plugin: one about native rounded-corner export and the other about a new pricing option.

tl;dr: You can now export your Figma design with rounded corners as Tiled / Containers! Since 2026.1, rounded containers are natively supported.
Rounded corners, minus the hassle
Rounded corners have been part of CSS and widely supported in browsers since around 2010. It’s in Figma since its launch. It's also part of most other BI tools.
But until now, they were not available in Tableau.
Many of the Tableau Public Viz of the Day business dashboards are using a background image to create the illusion of rounded-corner containers.

It looks good.
But it's a nightmare to maintain in real life.
Many people use Figma to generate this background image. When we released our Figma-to-Tableau plugin, we knew that we had to add and Background Image export option.
Exporting elements with rounded corners as Tiled / Containers was just not possible, and will automatically revert to squared corners.
But today, something important happened!

With the launch of 2026.1, you can now set the corner radius of your Tableau containers, sheets, buttons, etc…
And with that, we pushed a long-awaited update to our plugin: you can now export directly as Tiled/Containers, and all your rounded-corner elements will be shown automatically.

Say goodbye to maintaining background images!
Give it a try. The plugin can help you generate Tableau dashboards in seconds!
You can export 10 dashboards for free (if you already used your free exports and want to try this new feature, let us know)! Over the last few years, we added many new features so we’re happy to let you try it again!
Buy through Figma
There are some really fun parts about running a small business!
But also some really annoying ones… like supplier onbaording forms.
We make our tools simple to use and simple to get.
No sales, no calls. You want it, you get it!
But sometimes that is not enough, and even if you want our tools, getting them can be difficult.
Today, we are simplifying the process of getting our Figma-to-Tableau plugin, as you can now buy it directly in Figma.

You can still get a license through our store. It’s cheaper, and you can buy a license for multiple users at once. This only simplifies the process to not have to buy a external license.
That’s it for this week!
Hopefully, next week, we’ll be back with a new extension!
